GenauJobs Tech jobs in Germany, with honest language labels

About

Tech jobs in Germany, and exactly what each one asks of your German.

GenauJobs is a free job search for technical roles in Germany. For every job, it shows what the ad says about German, with the sentence from the ad as proof.

No German needed Backend Engineer (m/w/d) Berlin · Hybrid · Full-time “No German required, our working language is English.”
German a plus Data Engineer Munich · Remote “German is a plus, but not required.”
German required (C1) IT Consultant SAP Hamburg · On-site “Verhandlungssichere Deutschkenntnisse (C1)”

Germany needs tech talent, and many of the people it hires don't speak German yet. For them, one question decides whether an application makes sense: do I need German for this job? Most ads bury the answer in the middle of the text, phrase it vaguely, or leave it out. Job boards rarely help: their language filters depend on how employers tag ads, and many listings are agency reposts or jobs filled weeks ago.

Genau is German for "exactly". We read every ad and tell you exactly what it says.

What makes it different

A label on every job

German required (with the level, if stated), a plus, not needed, or not stated. The same for English.

The sentence as proof

Every label shows the line from the ad it's based on, so you can judge for yourself in a second.

Honest "not stated"

When an ad says nothing about German, we say so instead of guessing. Many German-language ads still hire English speakers.

Straight from employers

Read from employers' own job systems and careers pages. Recruiting agencies and temp staffing are hidden by default.

Fresh, not stale

New jobs arrive several times a day. Every night we open job links and remove jobs whose page is gone.

Free, no account needed

Search everything without signing up. An account only adds email alerts and an application tracker.

How we keep it accurate

  1. 01

    Collected

Jobs come in several times a day from employers' own systems.

  2. 02

    Filtered

Only technical roles in Germany stay: no warehouse, care or cleaning jobs, no jobs abroad.

  3. 03

    Labelled

Language labels are measured against hundreds of hand-reviewed ads, and each shows its quote.

  4. 04

    Checked

Dead job links are closed nightly, and the site is tested daily on desktop and phone.

Labels are generated automatically and can be wrong. That's why every one shows its quote and links to the original ad.

Privacy

You can search without an account. If you create one, it holds your email address, saved searches and tracked jobs; you can download or delete it at any time. Details in the privacy policy.
