Join our team and start your journey today!\n\nWe are seeking a Senior HVAC-R Integrated Solutions Engineer to join our team in Aachen, Germany, in a hybrid working model.\n\nKey responsibilities of the role:\n• Create new concepts and design for system solutions relying on Copeland’s broad product range, compressors, flow controls and electronic controls.\n• Develop and sustain integrated solutions dedicated to HVAC&R applications and relying on technologies ranging from mechanics to controls & diagnostics, fault detection and AI.\n• Analyze HVAC/R and energy systems theoretically and experimentally.\n• Develop advanced tools for the organization.\n• Develop new value proposition opportunities for customers & end-users jointly with customers, engineering, marketing, sales\n\nRequired qualifications and experience:\n• PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Thermodynamics, Energy Systems, or a related technical discipline.\n• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a similar engineering or research-focused role.\n• Python programming proficiency is required.\n• Experience with Dymola and/or LabVIEW is considered an advantage.\n• Strong background in energy systems, refrigeration, and air-conditioning technologies, including analysis, simulation, testing, and laboratory activities.\n• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a customer-oriented mindset.\n• Self-motivated, action-oriented, and capable of working both independently and within cross-functional teams.\n• Fluent English is required.\n• Knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.\n\nAbout the Location:\nThis role is based in Aachen, Germany, with a hybrid working model that combines collaboration in the office with the flexibility of remote work.\n\nLocated at the heart of Europe, Aachen is a vibrant city known for its strong engineering heritage, international atmosphere, and close proximity to Belgium and the Netherlands.
