Together with researchers and engineers, you support us during your internship in advancing state-of-the-art 3D generative models, which may also be featured in high-level AI and Computer Vision publications.\n\nWhat awaits you?\n• You support the design and development of a pipeline for post-training 3D generative models for vehicle design applications.\n• Furthermore, you help develop data-efficient techniques for conditioning generative models on new modalities such as performance metrics or aerodynamic properties.\n• In addition, you help explore Vision-Language Models (VLMs) as automated evaluators for generated images and 3D objects, assessing designs against aesthetic and technical criteria.\n• Moreover, you take part in an interdisciplinary research team, helping to push the boundaries of generative AI and contributing to scientific publications.\n\nWhat should you bring along?\n• Studies in computer science, engineering, natural sciences, or a related field.\n• Extensive programming experience in Python and practical knowledge of Deep Learning frameworks, particularly PyTorch and its ecosystem.\n• Experience with Reinforcement Learning beyond standard university courses, demonstrated through a personal or advanced coursework project.\n• Scientific mindset and strong enthusiasm for applying cutting-edge research to real-world challenges.\n• Ability to contribute in a collaborative, organized, and structured manner.\n• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.\n\nWould you like to help shape the future of automotive design with generative AI?
