What you’ll be\nworking on You design, develop, and operate high-performance data\npipelines that move core platform data into client-facing reporting\nand analytics systems You assess how data should be stored and\nmodeled, selecting the most suitable technologies depending on\nperformance, scalability, and use case needs You lead the\ntransformation of existing data workflows into a more modern and\nscalable architecture, ensuring a safe and structured migration path\nYou collaborate closely with backend and analytics teams to define\nefficient data structures and build robust, scalable information\nmodels You improve operational reliability by introducing monitoring,\nautomation, and best practices that keep data systems stable and\nmaintainable You make architectural decisions, evaluate technical\ntrade-offs, and help define engineering standards to ensure long-term\nplatform quality and consistency What you bring to the table You bring\n5+ years of experience in data platform engineering & you have strong\nPython skills and develop scalable data processing solutions,\nincluding custom ingestion, validation, and automation frameworks You\nbuild and manage event-driven batch workflows, designing reliable\norchestration, dependency management, and scheduling for complex data\npipelines You have deep knowledge of modern database technologies and\nknow how to select and optimize the right storage solution for\ndifferent performance and scalability requirements You implement\nrobust monitoring and observability practices, leveraging logging,\nmetrics, and alerting tools such as Datadog to ensure reliable data\nplatform operations Nice to have: You have experience with modern data\norchestration and transformation tools (e.g. Dagster or dbt), bring\ndomain knowledge in eCommerce, retail, or ad-tech, and are comfortable\nworking with PHP/Laravel-based environments You combine a pragmatic,\nsolution-oriented mindset with strong communication skills, take\nownership of initiatives, and collaborate effectively across teams to\ndeliver reliable and scalable data solutions What matters to our\npartner company Our partner company has an international focus and is\ncharacterized by continuous development.
