You will drive product roadmap, strategy and execution across Real-Time Drivers (RTD), Firmware, Security, and BSP, ensuring alignment from silicon to system integration. This role is critical to enabling system bring-up, software quality, and scalable customer deployment in Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) architectures.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nProduct Ownership\n• Define, execute, and own the product roadmap for:\n• Low-level real-time software including RTD (drivers), BSP (Board Support Package), RTOS, RTHV(virtualization/isolation)\n• System management (boot, firmware services, PMIC control)\n• Security (secure boot, crypto, key management)\n• Translate OEM, Tier 1, and systems requirements into clear product feature definitions and priorities\n• Balance trade-offs across timeline, quality, performance, safety, security, and scalability\n\nSystem Bring-Up & Integration\n• Responsible for:\n• Boot and power sequencing\n• Driver and peripheral enablement (CAN, LIN, DDR, PCIe, Ethernet)\n• System firmware, safety and security framework\n• Drive adoption of:\n• AI-assisted tools across SW lifecycle\n• Define and enable AI-driven customer experience on platform\n• Ensure low-level software enables end-to-end platform bring-up to ensure system-level readiness, not just feature delivery.\n\nCross-Functional Leadership\n• Serve as the single owner bridging:\n• Software R&D (feature delivery)\n• Applications Engineering (customer enablement, integration)\n• Product & Systems Engineering Teams (platform definition and roadmap)\n• Drive clear ownership, dependency management, and execution alignment across teams\n\nExecution & Delivery\n• Own delivery across:\n• Pre-silicon bring-up, NPI, customer deployment and maintenance\n• Track and communicate:\n• System readiness\n• Risks and dependencies\n• Execution gaps and mitigation plans\n\nCustomer & Ecosystem Engagement\n• Engage with OEMs and Tier 1 partners to understand real-world requirements.\n• Translate customer feedback into product improvements\n• Drive simplification, usability, and reduced complexity to accelerate adoption and design wins\n• Represent low-level SW in customer discussions on bring-up, performance, safety, and security\n\nQualifications\nRequired\n• 10+ years in embedded software, automotive systems, or related field\n• Strong background in low-level SW:\n• Drivers, bootloaders, firmware, BSP\n• AUTOSAR, RTOS, or Zephyr environments\n• Experience in product management, technical leadership, or system architecture\n• Solid understanding of system bring-up and HW/SW integration challenges\n\nPreferred\n• Experience with automotive SoCs or industrial systems\n• Familiarity with safety (ISO 26262) and security (ISO 21434, HSE)\n• Experience with CI/CD and OTA-based software delivery\n• Experience enabling:\n• AI-assisted development tools\n• AI-driven developer and customer workflows\n• Customer-facing experience with OEMs or Tier 1s\n\nWhat Success Looks Like\n• Improved software quality for first-time success rate\n• Reduced customer escalations\n• Strong alignment across SW R&D, Applications, and Product teams\n• Faster customer enablement and NPI execution\n• Reliable system-level bring-up readiness for new platforms\n\nMore information about NXP in
